(Feb. 5, 2009) ES- 1a.Can you identify yourself with any of the characters in the novel, what characteristics are similar? 1b.I can identify myself with Kit, because she did everything she could to make money to survive. I would have done the same. 2a.Do you find that the English language has varied since Shakespears play were written? What are some details you noticed? 2b.I feel that is has varied a lot, because in his time people took more time to speak to each other and they speaked very nicely in these plays, they used what we called today old English. 3a.What would you do if you were in the place of Peter? 3b.I would continue on with Kit till I knew it was safe to go back to my family. 4a.What emotions are displayed throughout the passage? 4b.Fear, Excitement, Adventure, Curious and unsurity. 5a. If you were Peter, would you want to continue your adventure with the casting crew or would you want to go back home to your parents? 5b.I would know that it would the most convenient and safe to stay with the crew but deep inside I would really want to go back to my family. 6a.Now that Peter has met Shakespeare, what kind of a role do you think Shakespeare will play in the story? Do you feel he will influence Peter’s decisions later on in the novel? 6b.I feel that Shakespeare will play a huge role in the story and he will really influence Peter’s decision meaning he will stay will Shakespeare throughout the book. 7a.We know now that Peter and Kit plan to continue their journey together for the moment, do you think that they will stay friends for a long time or do you feel that they will separate themselves from one another? 7b.I feel that they will build a strong friendship and that at the end of the book I think they will separate but keep in touch.
